Uneven skin tone, age spots, open pores, acne scarring, fine lines & wrinkles are all usual signs of ageing & sun damage. Retinol-based preparations are the platinum standard for the amelioration of fine lines but are not tolerated by one & all. We carry a wide range of anti-ageing cosmeceuticals like antioxidants, peptides, CoEnzyme Q, hyaluronic acid, collagen, alpha & beta hydroxyl acids, to name a few. While sunscreen & anti-ageing skincare is mandatory, procedural interventions like chemical peels, Infrared light-based devices, Intense pulsed light & Q switched Nd:YAG lasers are also used to treat pigmentation, age spots & uneven skin tone. Our facility offers skin tightening lasers along with radiofrequency devices for the tightening of sagging skin & microdermabrasion devices to treat open pores & milder acne scarring.
Deep lines around the mouth are filled out using dermal fillers like Juvederm, Restylane or Belotero. Fillers can be used to soften laugh lines, drops at the corners of the mouth, lift sagging eyebrows, create lip volume & contour, & fill out post acne or post-traumatic facial scars. Fillers are a semi-invasive technique with minimal downtime, instantaneous results & a high safety record. Our facility offers Hyaluronic Acid fillers which are US FDA approved, safe in men & women of all skin types & skin colours. These are temporary fillers that are light in consistency (hence a smoother & natural appearance) & do not require any pre-treatment allergy testing. Larger amounts of dermal fillers can also be used to create volume in an ageing face. This procedure is known as a “midface volume augmentation”, which acts as a “liquid facelift”. The results last for about 6-9 months. The fillers offered by our facility include all ranges in Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm & Belotero.
Dynamic wrinkles (that appear on the face during facial animation like crow’s feet, frown & forehead lines) are treated using Botox®. Botox has been used to treat several medical ailments as well, since the 1980s, & it is a natural purified protein extracted from bacteria. Botox® injection relaxes the tiny muscles that create these expression lines. The effect is localized to the area treated. The injections aim at softening the expression lines & it does not freeze facial muscles. Treatment only takes a few minutes & the effects begin to kick in after 2-3 days. The treatment is relatively painless results usually last for 3-6 months. Highly diluted Botox is used to treat fine lines of the face, to give an overall skin smoothing & tightening effect.
Ageing eyes always give away your true age. We offer a wide range of under-eye creams & serums to treat various indications like under-eye allergies, dark circles, puffy eyes & fine lines. We also offer treatments like chemical peels, sonophoresis, medicated eye masks, Botox®, mesobotox & dermal fillers to treat various conditions affecting the skin around the eyes. Carbon dioxide laser is used to remove cysts, xanthelasmas & syringomas around the eyes.
Loose wrinkled skin with freckling & age spots can give away your true age by making your neck, hands & décolleté appear aged. These can be remedied by regular use of sunscreens, along with chemical peels & infrared light devices to reduce age spots & freckling. Loose skin on the neck & décolleté can be treated using skin tightening lasers, radiofrequency devices &/or Botox® injections. Loss of volume on the back of hands can be corrected by the use of dermal fillers.
A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve & smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles, under-eye dark circles, sun-damaged skin & uneven skin pigmentation. Our facility offers a range of over 15 different types of peels for the treatment of various skin disorders. It is a simple office procedure that requires no anaesthesia, takes only a few minutes & has a very minimal recovery time. Chemical peels must only be performed by dermatologists, as it is a medical procedure that requires customized pre-treatment skin preparation & meticulous post-treatment care, to avoid the risk of burns & prolonged redness. The number of peels carried out ranges from 3 to 15 depending on the condition being treated.
For general skin rejuvenation or tightening we offer the Alma Harmony- XL’s Laser Skin Rejuvenation & Super Skin Tightening modules which are non-invasive & use the Advanced Fluorescent Technology & near-Infrared technology to induce deep tissue heating & tightening & get rid of superficial pigmentation, freckles & tan or to shrink visible veins & telangiectasia in fair-skinned individuals. The fresh, taut & lightened appearance of the skin post-Alma SR treatment has given it the name ‘Photofacial’ in common parlance. Syneron’s eMatrix machine also has an Infrared module that works well for patients with mild to moderate wrinkling & sagging. We also Jeisys Intragen Grid Fractional rejuvenation procedures to stimulate neo collagenases. It is safe for use even in darker skin types. Most patients require 4-6 treatments at 4-6 weekly intervals. Both treatments are non-invasive, pain-free & have zero downtime. Full results have been known to last for up to 6 months, but recent studies have shown that some thermal collagen modifications have lasted up to several years, depending on the rate of the patient’s ageing process.

Each treatment uses a series of patented HydroPeel® tips, while the unique vacuum-based skin abrasion tips are loaded with various active ingredients for added benefit. The machine also has blue & red LED light attachments for the treatment of acne, fine lines or wrinkles.
