MS Skin Centre was set up in 1990 by Dr. Mukta Sachdev, a trained & highly experienced dermatologist. The centre aims at providing professional dermatological expert diagnosis & treatment for adult male, female, newborn & child-related skin ailments. Our team of trained & experienced dermatologists also conducts various aesthetic skin procedures using state of the art laser technology & other equipment.
The clinic is conveniently located in the central suburb of Cambridge Layout, near Indiranagar & off MG Road in Bangalore, India. We have trained efficient staff that can be contacted by phone at any time to set up an appointment. We encourage all patients to make a prior apt to ensure quick & efficient service, minimal waiting time & dedicated consultations.
When you visit the clinic, the front office staff welcomes you & prepares a medical history & personal contact card. This enables the doctor to know your medical history & suggest treatments & prescriptions best suited for you.
During the consultation, our doctors will ask you detailed questions regarding your complaint, any relevant prior medication/procedures & the symptoms you are experiencing. This is followed by a physical examination. The doctor then refers to your case history file (which stores your entire history of earlier visits, prescriptions, medical details, allergies, etc) before suggesting a course of action best suited for you. The dermatologist will prescribe medication & explain treatment options in detail, outlining the pros & cons of each. In case of a procedure, the doctor will answer all your questions regarding what it involves, time period of treatment, recovery & follow-ups, along with clearly detailing any possible side effects.
At MS Skin Centre, our aim is to provide you with the most effective & efficient solution for your complaint. We focus on excellence in skincare with a conservative professional & ethical approach.
Once you are comfortable with the prescribed treatment & course of action, the Doctor will recommend a routine of follow up consultations. The front office staff will automatically check with you on the next appointment & make the booking at your convenience.
The MS Skin Centre also houses a specialized skin store (in-house as well as online) which stocks a range of dermatologist-recommended products for different skin conditions. You are free to procure the required products per your prescription from The Skin Store or at any other pharmacy of your choice.

Mukta Sachdev
Dr. Mukta Sachdev is one of the leading practicing MD dermatologists, studied & trained extensively in India & abroad. With three decades of clinical experience in medical, aesthetic & cosmetic dermatology, she has extensive experience in lasers & devices. Presently, she is the Head of the Department of Dermatology at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, India.
She is the founder & medical director of a niche boutique dermatology clinic MS Skin Centre in Bangalore and spearheads the practice along with a team of expert dermatologists.
Dr. Mukta serves on the boards of several dermatology & device companies, helping firms define clinical usage guidelines & protocols, determine emergent product needs, define new formulations & determine proof of efficacy. She has led consulting projects for large national & international firms on products as well as devices.
Dr. Mukta has significant research experience & is the medical director of a state-of-the-art dermatology cutaneous research & testing facility. MS Clinical Research (MSCR) has conducted over 300 end-to-end trials for leading international cosmeceutical, pharmaceutical & laser manufacturers. MSCR has won the Stevie Business Award for Female Innovator of the year 2013 & has received the WEConnect International Certification.

Conducting training & workshops to teach dermatology practitioners about new technology & clinical practices is a subject close to Dr. Mukta’s heart. As a global ‘skin of colour’ expert, she regularly lectures at conferences in India & abroad. She regularly conducts workshops & hands-on training sessions for dermatology practitioners globally. Dr. Mukta is a regular speaker & faculty at international seminars & conferences on Dermatology. She also conducts guest lecture sessions with leading educational institutes, research foundations & hospitals. She has presented on a range of topics, with a focus on the skin of colour. Her extensive academic expertise spans writing textbooks & contributing numerous chapters in dermatology textbooks, publishing journal articles, & peer-reviewing for medical journals.

Abhiny Rao brings with her expertise in technology, transition, strategy & team management. She has been the driving force in developing methodology and implementing process driven businesses. She works as the principal consultant leading multiple teams and line of business namely Prescriptive Facials, MS Skin Centre and The Skin Store.
Shalini holds a degree in Nursing and has 20 + years of experience in Dermatology and Aesthetics. She has to her credit 30 + train the trainer programs and is always in the forefront for assisting all procedures. A quick learner, she leads the department of nurses at MS Skin Centre. Shalini is assisted by a team of able, polite and experienced nurses.
